Frequently Asked Questions

Is it possible to reach the Golden Summit (Jinding) in one day?

It's possible but very rushed. The Golden Summit is at 3,079m and requires cable cars plus hiking. We recommend an overnight stay for the full summit experience.

Are the monkeys dangerous?

The wild macaques are used to tourists but can be aggressive for food. Keep food hidden, don't make eye contact, and follow the guide's instructions.

Can we combine with Leshan Giant Buddha?

Yes, but that requires 2 days. Leshan is 1 hour from Emei. We offer a 2-day Emei + Leshan package.
