Most visitors book our Beijing driver service on one of two charter durations. The half-day charter (4 hours) suits a focused central-Beijing programme — for example the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, or the Summer Palace combined with the Old Summer Palace. The full-day charter (8 hours) is the standard choice for a Great Wall day trip, or a packed day combining two or three major sights across the city. Both packages include your own air-conditioned vehicle, a professional local driver, fuel, tolls and parking; the driver waits at every stop while you sightsee.

Half-day charters are ideal if you arrive on a late-morning flight, have a morning meeting, or only want to tackle one or two landmarks without rushing. Full-day charters give you room for the Great Wall drive (about 1.5 hours each way to Mutianyu), a relaxed lunch stop, and an optional late-afternoon add-on such as Olympic Park or a hutong walk. Pick-up and drop-off are counted within the charter hours; tell us your hotel address and we plan the timeline around it.

Overtime and Night Service

If your programme runs long — a long lunch, extra shopping, or a late-evening show — overtime is billed at a flat hourly rate per vehicle, agreed in advance so there are no surprises at the end of the day. Early-morning pick-ups (before 07:00) and evening drop-offs (after 22:00) are available; a small night surcharge applies and is quoted up front. Airport and railway-station transfers are not subject to the hourly charter window — they are priced as fixed one-way rides, with Up to 120 minutes of free waiting time included for delayed flights.

Beijing Private Car Prices: Half-Day and Full-Day Charter

The table below shows the per-vehicle customer rate for a half-day (4h) and a full-day (8h) Beijing charter. Prices already include the vehicle, your driver, fuel, expressway tolls and parking fees; entrance tickets and your meals are not included. Rates are calculated from our supplier's Beijing source prices (RMB) at USD = RMB / 7.0, plus our service margin, and rounded to the nearest $5 for easy booking.
