Frequently Asked Questions
How much is airport transfer in China?
Airport transfer prices in China start from $95 for a sedan from major airports like Shanghai Pudong (PVG), Beijing Capital (PEK), or Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN) to city center hotels. Prices vary by distance: Shanghai Hongqiao (SHA) starts from $45, Beijing Daxing (PKX) from $120. All-inclusive fixed rates with meet & greet service.
What is meet and greet service at Chinese airports?
Meet and greet service means our driver waits inside the arrivals hall holding a sign with your name. They help with luggage, guide you to the vehicle, and handle any language issues. We track your flight in real-time, so if your flight is delayed, the driver adjusts automatically at no extra charge. 60 minutes free waiting time is included.
Should I book airport transfer in advance in China?
Yes, we strongly recommend booking in advance, especially for international arrivals. Taxi queues at major Chinese airports can take 30-60 minutes during peak times, and taxi drivers often dont speak English. Pre-booking guarantees your vehicle, fixed price, and English-speaking driver. Book at least 24 hours in advance, same-day bookings accepted subject to availability.
Can I pay for airport transfer with credit card?
Yes, we accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and PayPal. You can also pay in cash (USD or RMB), WeChat Pay, or Alipay. A 30% deposit is required to confirm the booking, with the balance payable on arrival. We provide official receipts for all payments.
What if my flight is delayed or cancelled?
We monitor all flight arrivals in real-time. If your flight is delayed, your driver will wait at no extra charge (up to 2 hours). If your flight is cancelled or rescheduled, contact us via WhatsApp and we will adjust the pickup time free of charge. We offer 24/7 support for all airport transfer bookings.
Which airport should I fly into for Beijing?
Beijing has two airports: Capital International (PEK) is closer to the city center (30-40 min) and handles most international flights. Daxing International (PKX) is newer but farther south (50-60 min to center). Both airports have our transfer service. PEK is generally more convenient for tourists staying in central Beijing.
Is there a maglev train from Shanghai Pudong Airport?
Yes, the Shanghai Maglev connects Pudong Airport (PVG) to Longyang Road Station in 8 minutes (430 km/h). However, it only reaches Longyang Road, not your hotel. You still need a taxi or metro transfer with luggage. A private door-to-door transfer is more convenient, especially for families or groups with luggage, costing from $95.
Do you provide child seats for airport transfers?
Yes, we provide child seats and baby capsules free of charge on request. Please specify the age and weight of your child when booking so we can provide the appropriate seat. All child seats meet international safety standards and are regularly inspected.
